I was born in times that are historically considered dark, unpromising and too uniform. But precisely because of this burdensome nature of the era, I learned to run in my imagination and create whole worlds there, which began to come to light when photography and artistic processing of frames took over my life. And that’s how escapism turned into a curiosity, then a passion, and finally a profession. My children are my huge inspiration because the love I feel for them makes me record every possible experience we have together – although a teller of other people’s stories, I also like to write my own.
I have been teaching photography and photo processing for ten years. I shoot all the time, and lately I’ve been getting into creating short video forms as well. I guess because of the teaching, but I found that I like to shoot everything and experiment in all sorts of genres like landscape, portraits, events, product photography, interior and exterior, travel, drone photography. The truth is, with a camera in hand, I feel challenged by everything and I want to find that point of view that makes it worth looking through the viewfinder and capturing a shot.
I am inspired by people, especially those with whom we find ourselves on the same frequency at some point and create a shared experience. I am inspired by travel and new places to tell about in pictures. I am inspired by the encounter with cultures unknown to me, where, in the end, you look back into someone’s human eyes and create soul-transforming memories. Photography is communication, an almost universal language that I want to speak better and more impactfully, and in this I find meaning and vocation.
It will be an honor for me to meet and exchange ideas, regardless of whether you will feel “your” person in me.
